Do Non-Afro's Use 'Fro Piks?

Hello! I was wondering about something! I'm white (Not really, lol..Hmm, I'm Lebanese, sooo...Anyway! xD) I have really curly hair and I've got a small fro at the moment. I was wondering if people like me who don't have the African hair texture (Goddamnit, I'm envious >.<) use the afro pik or not? What I usually just do is simply after my daily showers, I get out and dry my hair with a towel wildly. I just keep on shaking it and I do not brush my hair, and hence my fro :D I was wondering if it'd look any better if I used the pik? :O 'Cuz I just look like I've been electrocuted, tee hee! What do you think!? Should I get one and use it? Actually, I think my mom used to have one back in the old days >.< Yes, we haz teh same kind of hurr. Anyway! If you think I should use it, please tell me how to! :D
