My car's been acting up lately?

I have been having problems with the lights of my car. The light that warns people where you are turning. (pardon my english). it's not working since yesterday, it doen't work anymore. I thought it was a problem with the battery but the car starts anytime. Also, the one that serves to squirt wather onto the windshild doesnt work either. The first problem is the most serious as I cant drive in that condition at night. Can you help me please?
