What has your experience been with babies and/or dogs and Christmas trees?

well, don't use tinsel, that's for sure....babies, dogs, and cats will eat the tinsel...not a good thing...nothing will freak you out more than going to change your babies diaper and having to gently pull a piece of tinsel ( or your long hair if you have long hair) out of your babies bo-hiney...let me tell you...as far as dogs, some of mine have gotten overly excited with gl cuz they see their reflection and think it's another dog and jump on the tree...cats have been known to pounce on trees and knock them down too...make sure all of your outlets have safety covers to keep little fingers from getting shocked...make sure your tree base is very stable and supported well to keep it from toppling...don't use any directions with small detachable parts that your baby might accidentally swallow cuz you know they will stick anything into their little mouths...have a safe christmas
