How does Jem Finch Come of Age in the book to kill a mockingbird?

I have to write an essay for english about how To Kill a Mockingbird is a coming of age story. What are three events or people that helped Jem finch come of age in the story? So far i have Mrs. Dubose, and the trial. What else can i put and why?
