What should be the guiding American policy with Syria, Libya and Egypt?

The people in Syria are now revolting against their dictatorship gov't. Similar instances of the gov't trying to repress the people's voices are happening in Syria. Just today there were reports that snipers stationed above roofs were shooting down civilians.
