Strep throat, scarlet fever in a 6 year old?

My 6 year old was diagnosed with Strep Throat 10 days ago. He finished his antibiotics today. He hasn't had a fever or sore throat for 8 days. Today he started itching and developed a rash on his face first then it has appeared on his back,stomach, arms, legs, hands and feet. No fever and no sore throat. Could this be scarlet fever even though he finished his antibiotics for strep? Or is it most likely something else? Calling Dr in the morning (hopefully she isn't on vacation for New Years Eve) but just wanted to see what the opinions are here on if it might be scarlet fever or not since the fever isn't there but was there 12 days ago until about 8 days ago (fever was 103-104).
